Most people on MetUpIn are here to meet good people over coffee. A few simple habits keep it that way.

When you chat

Take your time. There's no rush to move to WhatsApp or Instagram. Chat here until you're comfortable.
Never send money, UPI payments, OTPs, passwords, card details or ID documents to anyone you meet here.
Be careful with "investment", "loan", "job with a registration fee" or "double your money" offers. These are common scams.
If someone is rude, threatening or makes you uncomfortable, use Report or block from the chat menu. We review every report.

When you meet

Meet in a public place like a café, and tell a friend where you're going.
Arrange your own travel and keep your phone charged.
Leave if anything feels off. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
