MetUpIn (metupin.com, "we", "us") is a networking platform. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older and give true information about yourself. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
What the service is
MetUpIn helps people meet for professional and social networking — online through profiles, connection requests and chat, and offline through city meetups. We do not guarantee that any connection, job, investment or business outcome will result from using the platform.
Beans (paid credits)
- Beans are digital credits used to send connection requests. One bean sends one request.
- Prices and pack sizes are shown on the Beans page before you pay. All prices are in Indian Rupees.
- Beans have no cash value, cannot be transferred and do not expire while your account is active.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable — see our Refund & cancellation policy.
Community rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats or sexual content.
- No spam, selling, multi-level marketing, fundraising or mass messaging.
- No fake profiles or impersonation.
- Meet in public places and use your own judgement when meeting anyone in person.
We may remove content, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Unused beans on accounts closed for rule violations are not refunded.
Meetups
Meetups are run by us or by members we approve as hosts, at third-party venues. Meetup fees are paid to us, never to the host. Attendees are responsible for their own conduct, belongings and expenses at the venue unless stated otherwise in the meetup details. Hosts see confirmed guests' names, emails and what they do; other guests see only first initials and professions.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
